Semyon Bychkov returns to London for the first time in over a year to conduct the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the BBC Proms. Beethoven’s Coriolanus Overture and Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor with soloist Kirill Gerstein will be heard in the first half followed by Mendelssohn’s Third Symphony. The performance on 3 September will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3.
