Semyon Bychkov returns to the UK in the New Year to conduct Dvořák’s Symphony No. 7 with the Royal Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra, culminating in a lunch-time concert on 27 January live streamed via RAM’s YouTube channel here.
On 21 February, he gives the first of six performances of a new production of Dvořák’s Rusalka at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Asmik Grigorian, who sings the title role, was also Bychkov’s Rusalka for the concert performances at the 2022 Dvořák Prague International Music Festival.
