This summer, Semyon Bychkov returns to the Bayreuth Festival to conduct Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde in the iconic Festspielhaus. The revival of Thorleifur Örn Arnarsson’s 2024 production will be performed on August 3, 10, 13, 23 and 25. The cast includes Andreas Schager as Tristan, Camilla Nylund as Isolde, Günther Groissböck as König Marke, Jordan Shanahan as Kurwenal and Ekaterina Gubanova as Brangäne.
