Bryce Dessner is the very first artist given the title of composer-in-residence by the Czech Philharmonic. Our audience will hear the European premiere of his Cello Concerto. Representing Dessner’s sources of musical inspiration are a miniature by Henri Dutilleux and Igor Stravinsky’s bewitching Rite of Spring.
